Export Administration Regulations

The Hong Kong Trade and Industry Department has promulgated "Best Practices" for trade in its territory. Your Hong Kong consignees should be aware of and follow Hong Kong export controls and best practices just as you should follow BIS's. You can view TID's best practices here <http://www.stc.tid.gov.hk/english/bsg/BestPractice.html>, and are encouraged to share them with your overseas counterparts.

If you would like to know more about an entity in Hong Kong, information about registered companies is available to the public at their Cyber Search Center  <http://www.stc.tid.gov.hk/english/bsg/OnlineSearch.html>.  Basic information is free to the public, and more detailed information is available for a nominal fee.
