PAKISTAN EXPORT CONTROL INFORMATION

Pakistan is not a member of the Australia Group, Missile Technology Control Regime, Nuclear Suppliers Group, or the Wassenaar Arrangement, but maintains control lists consistent with the guidelines of all regimes but the Wassenaar Arrangement. The legal basis for these controls is The Export Control on Goods, Technologies, Material and Equipment related to Nuclear and Biological Weapons and their Delivery Systems Act, which was passed in 2004. The Export Control Act is administered by the Strategic Export Control Division (SECDIV) or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
