UKRAINE EXPORT CONTROL INFORMATION

Ukraine is a member of the Australia Group, Nuclear Suppliers Group, Missile Technology Control Regime, and the Wassenaar Arrangement. Ukraine requires authorization for imports and exports of all items subject to the multilateral regimes. The licensing authority for all items is the State Service of Export Control.

Due to Russia’s occupation of the Crimea Region of Ukraine, exports, reexports, and transfers of items subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to or within the Crimea region is restricted. A BIS license is required to export or reexport all EAR-controlled items to the Crimea region of Ukraine, except for food and medicine designated as EAR99. These licenses are subject to a policy of denial.
