This full day program is designed for any person or company who exports (or temporarily imports) defense articles, defense services, or technical data. It will be presented by a member of the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). The program is intended to enhance participants' understanding of the role of the DDTC in licensing exports (and temporary imports) of defense (munitions) articles and defense services covered by the United States Munitions List (USML). Specific topics to be covered will include an overview of DDTC; commodity jurisdiction; registration and eligibility; license preparation; license review process; agreements preparation; ITAR exemptions and a compliance overview.
The instructor is an experienced DDTC Training Coordinator from State Department's Washington, D.C. headquarters. The instructor will be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions on how the ITAR regulations affect the export activities of your organization or client.
The program will be held at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside, 250 Market Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Registration and continental breakfast will

The registration fee for the Complying with the ITAR is $200.00 per person (after March 11 the fee is $225.00). The fee includes continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches and materials for all three days. Fifty percent of the registration fee is refundable until March 31, 2010 and no registration fee is refundable after April 1, 2010. Substitutions may be made at any time.
