This full day program is an in-depth session that will focus on the unique provisions related to encryption under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) licensing officers will cover a variety of topics, including Note 4 to Category 5, Part 2, various decontrols, encryption mass market provision (742.15), License Exception ENC (740.17), publicly available, encryption licensing, and foreign products developed from U.S. origin encryption parts and components. Presenters will be available for Q&A the afternoon of the program to address specific questions of attendees.
The instructors are experienced export policy specialists from the Information Technology Division in Washington DC. The instructors will be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions on how the export regulations affect the export activities of your organization or client.
The program will be held at the Crowne Plaza San Jose-Silicon Valley, 777 Bellew Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 am. The program begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.

The registration fee for this one day seminar is $325.00 per person which includes breakfast, lunch, breaks and training materials.
