BIS will again conduct the Export Control Forum in southern California. This annual event is intended to provide an opportunity for you to hear about the latest in the export control field and to interact with key BIS management, licensing, and policy people. We have changed the format and venue this year in response to recommendations you have provided.
One registration will now cover the day-and-a-half program. On February 22, key export control professionals from BIS and other agencies will highlight the important developments that have occurred in the field over the past year. The first day will conclude with a gala reception, offering you the opportunity to mingle and discuss issues of concern with the presenters and other participants. On February 23, the program will continue with your choice to attend one of two, half-day sessions, dedicated to more in-depth coverage of a specific export control issue. The sessions on the second day will run concurrently. We have also changed the venue to the Hyatt Regency, in Irvine, CA.
We hope you will like these changes and will plan to join us at the Export Control Forum in February. This event will be a great opportunity for firms on the west coast (or those hoping to escape winter’s grip) to hear from, an interact with, key experts from BIS and other export control agencies.
