Text only description of the BIS Organization Chart
The Under Secretary and Deputy Under Secretary have six areas reporting to
them. These are:
- Export Enforcement
- Export Administration
- Office of Administration
- Office of Congressional and Public Affairs
- The Nonproliferation Export Controls Cooperation Team, and
- The Office of Chief Counsel for Industry and Security (in an advisory
capacity)
Export Enforcement is headed by an Assistant Secretary and a Deputy Assistant
Secretary that have three program areas reporting to them. These are:
- The Office of Export Enforcement
- The Office of Enforcement Analysis, and
- The Office of Antiboycott Compliance
Export Administration is also headed by an Assistant Secretary and a Deputy
Assistant Secretary that have five program areas reporting to them. These
are:
- The Office of Strategic Trade and Foreign Policy Controls
- The Office of Nonproliferation Controls and Treaty Compliance
- The Office of Exporter Services
- The Office of Strategic Industries and Economic Security
- The Operating Committee
