National Control List Foundations NCL- 101

The National Control List Foundations provides the participants with an overview of the control list process from an international and national perspective. The basic elements of the EU numbering system for dual-use goods are described.

Prerequisites:

None

Objectives:

Provide senior policy makers with two fundamental understandings. The effort of maintaining an updated national control list requires significant resources because of the constant negotiations and updating of various international control list regimes. Secondly, exporters require access and timely responses from regulatory authorities regarding interpretations of control language and items on the national control list.
