National Export License Processing LP-201

The National Export License Processing course provides participants with an understanding of all the major aspects of dual-use license review from submission by industry, through interagency evaluation, to dispute resolution and review aspects by different agencies. This course also covers documentation requirements, re-exports, transshipments, and omplimentary services provided to industry. The course consists of eight lectures and is augmented by four licensing case studies that are interwoven with the lectures.

None

Objectives:

Provide managers of licensing officers or other export control staff with knowledge of the criteria Western licensing officers use when evaluating a license. The case studies will illustrate how licensing officers interact with the exporter/applicants, as well as their colleagues from different agencies, to decide if applications should be approved.
